Now that you’ve seen that, I want to make sure I drive home step number 3.
Cause without the proper words, you’re definitely gonna struggle to connect with your prospects.
I know this because I’m currently in a conversation with someone that doesn’t know how to do this properly on social media.
It’s quite evident, because all of her questions are “her” focused.
And as a result, she’s lost me…
Not that she ever HAD me, but you get the point.
So let me explain step 3 in further detail for you here, because this is where most network marketers get it wrong.
All too often I see people doing this and the final message is a “vomit” about their company or product.
DON’T DO THIS!
You will run off prospects and frustrate people along the way.
The most effective way to connect with people is by saying something that they absolutely cannot resist.
The best way to do this is to find a pain point, and dig in.
Now you can’t always get a pain point nailed down right away.
And sometimes you are shooting in the dark.
So don’t get discouraged if you don’t hit it out of the park right away.
But one of my favorite pain points to connect with other people over is their job.
Not everyone, but a good majority of people struggle with some aspect of their job.
So if you can connect their pain point in some way, you will find yourself winning more than losing.
And you’ll create highly interested network marketing prospects!
Here is an example:
Hey there! It’s been so great connecting with you these past few days. You look like you have such a passion for life and inspire everyone around you.
I’m just curious. Could you do me a favor? I’m looking for people who work under a lot of stress, but love the money they earn. Do you know anyone?
One of two things will happen when you say something like this. They might say something like, “well that’s me!” If they say something like this, then you can respond to them with something like this in return.
Well I show people how a part-time business earns enough money to turn work weeks into a holiday, four weeks a month. If you’d ever like to know how, I’d be glad to show you.
But maybe this doesn’t resonate with them.
If thats the case, they may give you a referral of someone that actually thinks like this!
It’s a total win win.
And way more effective than asking someone if they are open to new opportunities.
Cause let’s be honest… Most people have heard these kinds of pitches over and over again, and quite frankly are getting tired of hearing them.
But if you choose your words wisely, you are more likely to grab their attention and get a yes along the way!
Which is ultimately what I want for you.
