I have three social media marketing engagement strategies that you can start using in 2021 to help you build your network marketing business on social media platforms like Facebook or INSTAGRAM and help you actually get the engagement that you
want and that you absolutely deserve.

I teach and train network marketers how to build their businesses in the online space, and today I want to talk about how you can specifically start building your engagement on social media so that you’re having more people interacting with you, interacting with your posts that are talking about your products, your service, your business so that you can actually sell more products on line.

Now, before we get any farther. I want to show you one of my favorite hacks. That helped me figure out how to hack my way through the Facebook algorithm so that I showed up in front of more and more people and actually built a successful network marketing business online.

So, listen, there’s three things that I want you to do. If you are looking to, increase your engagement on your social media posts on Facebook or on Instagram.
What I really want you to think about doing is before you even post okay like this is super duper crucial. These next three things that I’m gonna be sharing with you are all about doing these things before you create your own post. Okay.
The reason for that is because we want to show social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram that we are actually engaging with other people first, that we’re actually trying to build our engagement with other people first.
And let me tell you, those platforms are all about engaging with one another Facebook and Instagram, it’s all about connections and community. And if you want to increase your engagement, first thing you’ve got to do is you have to be engaging with other people.
So the first thing that I want you to do if you want to increase your engagement on social media, the first thing I want you to do is I want you to be commenting, liking and sharing other peoples post first. Okay?
And when I’m talking about commenting, liking and sharing, I’m not talking about just going through your feed and liking people stuff, giving the thumbs up button.
I’m not talking about just giving words like, Oh, this is awesome. I’m talking about real True engagement with your audience.
Now, what this actually looks like is when we are connecting with other people, the first thing I want you to do is I want I want you to go through your social media feed and find the people that you haven’t connected with in a while.
If you’re on instagram, this is super easy. All you have to do is go to the followers button and you can actually see Instagram will show you the 50 accounts that you haven’t interacted with in a while. Okay, Super easy on Instagram.
Now on Facebook What I recommend is that you actually create a list off people that you want to start interacting with.
Now on Facebook finding people that I want to interact with I do this a little bit differently. I find out who are the people that are having birthdays that are coming up, okay. And I don’t want to start on their birthday. I want to find the people that have a birthday that’s coming up in the next couple days. Okay.
So this is one of the best ways to keep track of people that maybe you haven’t engaged with in a while. Okay, Birthdays. Okay,
So look and see whose birthday is coming up and who you can start engaging with and interacting with.
Now on Facebook or Instagram. Once we’ve figured out those people that we haven’t been interacting with for a while, we’re now going to go to their posts on social media.
And this is key right here. We are going to start connecting with them. Now. I don’t want you to go through and start saying things like Awesome or this is great, because that’s not really creating community. Okay,
What I want you to do is I want you to actually start engaging asking questions on posts and actually have at least 140 characters on your comments. Okay,
That might sound like a lot, but here’s the thing. If you say something like, Wow, this is super cool. I would love to do something like this as well, and now you’re going to Ask them a question. Okay? You can ask them. What did you do to get here, or what do you like most about whatever it is that’s in the picture and the comment, whatever it is.
OK, we want to create engagement, and the best way to do that is by asking questions okay and making sure that we have at least 140 characters in that response.
Now, when liking the post, what I want you to do is instead of going through and just hitting the thumbs up button, you’re actually going to increase your engagement if you choose one of the other icons. Okay, so say you want to choose the heart button or the
little guy that’s holding the heart button. Or maybe whatever is in that person’s description makes you frustrated, or it amazes you.
Choose something other than just the thumbs up button because you’re gonna actually get More engagement. Facebook likes it more if we have more of those different icons on our post. And that means that we, as people that are engaging with other people on the platform, we need to be using those as well.
Now, this might seem like a crazy amount of time, but I want you to realize that you’re investing in your engagement at this point. Okay, we’re creating momentum on Facebook on Instagram. We are connecting with other people, and I want you to be doing this for about 30 minutes.
Okay, so 30 minutes of commenting, liking and sharing other people’s posts is going to actually show Facebook or instagram that you are engaging with other people.
You’re connecting with other people. And if you’re connecting with people you haven’t connected with in a while, Facebook and Instagram is going to say, Wow, this person is pretty popular. We should show more of their stuff to All of these people that they’re connecting with it increases your engagement when you do finally post as well.
Now, the second thing I want you to do if you want to increase your social media engagement, the second thing I want you to do is I want you to go through and find more people that are in your target audience to friend request.
Now, what’s super cool about this is that if you’re consistent with the kind of people that you want to be friends with, Facebook is going to start showing your profile to the exact people that you want.

So we’re a friend requesting 5 to 10 new people every single day that are in our audience that we want to connect with about our business.
Okay, now what I want you to remember is that we’re friend requesting those people and we’re connecting with them. So that
could be connecting with them in messenger that could be connecting with them on their personal profile. Share commenting,
liking, sharing, using the 140 characters in the comments really connecting with people.
That’s what Facebook and Instagram absolutely like. Okay, so when we’re connecting with people, when we’re when we’re friend requesting these people were not just friend requesting them, but we’re actually connecting with them as well.
This is going to increase our engagement when we do finally post. And remember, we’re doing all of this stuff before we personally post because it increases our engagement when we do finally decide that it’s time to post.
Now, the third thing that I want you to do is I want you to start going through the and the easiest way that I found to do this. I want you to start going through stories of people that maybe you haven’t connected with in a while and I want you to start messaging
Okay, So the third thing we want to do is we want to start messaging people on social media that we haven’t connected with in a while.
Now, I want to be super clear on what we’re doing. We are connecting with people, okay? We are not spamming people with our products. With our service, with our business, we simply want to make sure that we are asking people questions that maybe
we’re asking somebody.
How was your holiday or how was your vacation that you went on recently or we’re asking people questions That’s creating connections on social media. That’s what Facebook and Instagram are all about, creating those connections so that we actually have people that engage more with our stuff when we do finally post.
Let’s go over it one more time. The first thing we want to do is we want to comment like and share on other people’s post.
The second thing we want to do is we wanna look for people that are actually in our target audience that we want to connect with that. Maybe we want to pitch our business to later when we had those perfect connections with people. We want to find people that are in our target audience 5 to 10 people that we can connect with.
And the third thing we want to do is we actually want to start messaging people on social media that maybe we haven’t chatted with in a while and connect with them.
All three of these things are going to help increase our engagement. Now, once we’ve done all three of these things. Now it’s time for us to post.
And one of my favorite things to post for if I’m looking to increase my engagement on social media is I love asking questions of my target audience that actually helps direct them in the direction that I want them to go.
So say I’m in a health and wellness business. Say I’ve got a product that helps people lose weight. Maybe I wanna ask questions like, Do you feel like you ate too much of the holidays and are you ready to lose some weight like, are you like me? And you feel like you stuff too much in your face and you wish there was an easy way to lose some of those pounds.
You’re probably going to get people that want to connect with you back on that because you’re asking a question. You’re asking and engaging question. And the cool thing is that if you’ve already been engaging with people that day doing those three things that I just shared with you right now, you’re most likely going to have increased engagement through the roof of people that maybe they haven’t seen your posts in a while.
Maybe Facebook hasn’t been putting your stuff in front of them for a while, But now Facebook is going to start putting that stuff in front of them because you’ve been engaging with them first.
So if you want to increase your social media engagement, it’s all about giving so that you can get in return as well.
