So when I first started building my network marketing business on social media, I really didn’t know a whole lot about what it was that I was doing. I didn’t really know or understand a lot about the different algorithms for the different platforms.
I didn’t really know how to actually make it so that people were coming to me, asking me about my products, my service and my business. But then, as time went on, I realized that I really needed to learn how to do this and how to actually use attraction marketing to build my network marketing business.
So when I first discovered Attraction marketing, most of what I was posting on Social Media at that time was basically pics about my network marketing business about my company, about my product before and afters of what my product does.
And while I was seeing some success with that, I knew that if I kept going down that road, I was just going to end up with the same mediocre results that I was currently having. While my business was growing. I was also noticing that in some ways it was also stagnating as well as going backwards, and I was getting really tired of that.
So that’s when I realized that I actually needed to learn a little bit more about social media and how to actually put myself out there in such a way that I actually became an influencer and actually built know like and trust with people so that I could actually build my network marketing business in the long run.
So I bet that you probably feel the same way that I did all those years ago, and I wanted to hopefully give you a blueprint to help you understand what you need to be doing on social media. If you want to become a social media influencer that’s able to sell your products, build your business and create the empire that you know you deserve. So if you’re looking to build your network marketing business on social media, there’s three things that I really want you to focus on.
Okay, the first thing that I want you to really think about when growing on Social media is, are you actually considering growing an audience on social media? Are you considering what that looks like? And actually growing people that are already interested in what you have to offer?
So when I first started building my business on social media, I didn’t give any thought to this at all. I didn’t consider who I was talking to. I didn’t consider anything about the fact that maybe there were people out there that didn’t necessarily want my product or my service.
And this is something that I see a majority of network marketers doing where they’re going on social media and not really having a purpose or a plan for growing an audience. The beauty of growing an audience of people that already like you, they already know you and they already trust you is that when you suggest certain products, services or your business, they’re more likely to want to work with you.
And that’s the beauty of becoming a social media influencer and having people know you like you and trust you. You actually get to grow an audience of people that are already interested in what you have, so you don’t actually have to go out there and feel like you’re selling ice to an Eskimo.
Instead of selling ice to an Eskimo, We can actually consider selling ice to a snow cone truck. A snow cone track actually wants ice right there are ready in the market for ice, so why not go and gravitate towards the people that already want what you have to offer?
Because when I first started a network marketing, I was told that everybody would want my product want my business want my service, but that just isn’t so true. So instead of trying to go after everyone, start growing an audience of people that already know you, like you trust you and want what you have, that’s a really special place to be.
The second thing I want you to do if you’re looking to build your social media influence is I want you to actually engage with the audience that you’re growing on. Social media engaging looks simply like connecting with those people actually talking to them on social media, actually actually having conversations on posts, actually having conversations and messenger and actually wanting to connect it with them in a real live way.
A lot of times we get really weird in our business when we start talking to other people because we think that we have to immediately start promoting to other people, and unfortunately that’s not the case. We don’t necessarily need to start promoting to them immediately.
We’ve already started growing the audience. Now we want to actually engage with them and talk to them like normal people. Okay, so when we see something that we like on social media, maybe somebody posts a picture of their family. Talk to that person.
Tell them what you think about how awesome their family looks and how happy they all look. That’s just a normal way to connect with people. So it’s all about growing the audience, engaging with the audience.
And now last, we actually want to promote to that audience. So that’s the third thing that I want you to start thinking about when growing your influence on social media. Now there’s two ways that you can actually promote to your audience on social media.
The first way is by actively promoting to people. What this means is that you’re actively inviting people to presentations. You’re actively inviting people to take a look at your business. You’re actively actually enrolling people following up with people.
You’re connecting with people in such a way that lets them know that you’re promoting to them. And we don’t have to be weird when we’re doing this. I know a lot of network marketers struggle with this last piece of promotion because they feel like they have to be all in your face or you’re not going to join my team.
And unfortunately, that’s not true. When we actually promote to people all we have to do if we have built influence on our audience, all we have to do is tell people you know what I would really love to work with you In my business, you seem like a really special person, and I think that you could be really good at what I do.
It’s really simple when you’ve actually created some sort of influence over somebody, because now they actually want to do whatever it is that you’re doing. It’s a really special place to be now when we’re passively promoting to people.
That means that we’re actually posting on social media and we’re creating some sort of curiosity or we’re telling people about our products were telling people about our service or telling people about our business. And we’re actually posting on social media about all of these things. There’s different ways that you can do this.
But when you passively are promoting about your business, generally what happens is people start reaching out to you, asking you a little bit more about your products, about your service, about your business, because everything that you’ve done up to this point makes them more and more curious about what it is that you’re doing, and they want to connect with you even more so when you’re promoting to people you don’t necessarily have to always be actively promoting the passive side.
When you put active plus passive together, you can create such an amazing harmony that causes people to be attracted to you. It’s that magnetic sponsorship that starts to happen over time, where you actually start to become an influencer where people want to know a little bit more about what you do.
