Well, my name is Karin Angelly from KarinAngelly.com. I teach and train network marketers how to build their business in the online space. And today I want to talk about creating high quality leads for you in your business.
So listen, I’m here every single week giving you tips tricks and training on how to build your network marketing business. So go ahead and tap that subscribe button because I want to help you grow.
So friend I get asked this question on a pretty consistent basis and I know that there are tons of network marketers that want to know how to create high quality leads in their business. And today I want to answer the question of how do I get high quality leads in my business.
So the first thing I want you to think about is who it is that you’re trying to connect with, who are your high quality leads that you actually want in your business. So I actually connected with somebody today. She’s brand new to network marketing.
And she was super curious as to how she could actually get people that were already interested in what she had to offer. She was finding that she was getting a lot of objections from people objections like, oh, you’re doing network marketing, I don’t want to do that.
And she’s getting all of these objections, hearing people saying that they’re not interested because it’s network marketing or they might be interested, but then they stop. And basically she was asking me, how do I actually get high quality leads that are truly interested in what I have to offer?
And the first thing that I said to her and I say to everybody is that you’ve got to know who specifically it is that you’re talking to, who specifically is your target audience that already wants, what you have to offer. Okay. Like these people are already in the market for your product, your business, your opportunity, whatever the case, they are already looking for it.
So think about this, if you are a car salesman and you are trying to sell a car to somebody, would you rather have somebody that’s ready to buy right here and right now? Or would you want somebody that is just looking at cars just to have fun and play around?
Obviously you want the first. You want people that are already interested in what you have to offer. And it’s incredibly important that you do this in your network marketing business, where you actually are putting out content on social media that’s actually attractive to that target audience that already wants what you have.
That’s so crucial and something that I know I missed whenever I first started in network marketing and most people miss this because it’s not something that we’re taught. And listen, you are a network marketer, get used to learning how to market to the right people and actually have the right people coming to you and be attracted to you.
It’s all about knowing who your target audience actually is. Then listen, friend, if you’ve fallen into the trap of thinking that you have to pay for leads, please don’t do that. There are so many amazing organic ways to actually attract the right high quality leads straight to you in your business.
There’s no need to actually go out and pay for leads because what I’ve learned, I’ve paid for leads before, and what I’ve learned is that the people that I actually organically attract are more attracted to me and who I am and they’re more likely to actually do something.
Which gets me excited because I don’t have to try and make somebody interested in my product, my service or my business. They’re already naturally interested in what I have to offer. So please, my friend don’t pay for leads, it is going to set you back and frustrate you in so many ways.
Really think about what kind of things can you put on social media that’s going to be attractive to people that they’re going to want to come to you and start asking you questions because it’s really cool when you actually get people coming straight to you, asking you about your business, about your products, about your service, whatever the case may be, it’s so special when you’ve put out that kind of information that your target audience already wants to hear and they start coming to you asking you about how to feel better or live better or build their business better.
They are just generally attracted to you because you’ve been putting out the right information for that target audience and they’re just ready to buy right here right now. You don’t actually have to go through all the objections. Well, it’s too expensive. I don’t like network marketing or all the other things that I’m sure you’ve heard along the way in your business.
One other way that you can get some high quality leads in your business is actually through lead nurturing, this means that you’re actually getting leads and you’re nurturing them.
You can do this through an email list, you can do this through a facebook group, you can do this through all sorts of different ways on Youtube communities. On LinkedIn, whatever the case may be, nurture the people that are interested in your product or service. Those people are more likely to buy from you in the end.
So a really huge question that I know network marketers are asking constantly is what actually classifies as a high quality lead. The thing that qualifies somebody or classifies somebody as a high quality lead is just that they already want what you have to offer.
You don’t have to go out and sell ice to an Eskimo. You can actually sell ice to a snow cone truck. They already want what you have to offer. That is a high quality lead. They’re actually already looking for that specific thing.
And you can actually create content. You can create posts, you can create videos for those specific high quality leads and actually get them to really be attracted to you because you’re answering their questions, you’re educating them, you’re entertaining them and you’re just bringing more and more people your way.
That’s what classifies as a high quality lead, actually having people that are ready to buy and ready to go with you. The other thing that I’ve learned about having highly or having leads that are classified as high quality is that they’re actually reaching out to you.
They’re actually sending you messages on social media, trying to figure out if you already have what they want. And the beauty is is that if you’ve been targeting your target audience properly, you already have what they have to offer. And so now when they reach out to you, you can actually answer their questions.
You can give them a product, give them a service, give them whatever it is that you have to offer, and they have actually reached out to you. This is a high quality lead for your network marketing business and this is my favorite way to build my network marketing business.
When I’ve discovered within the whole network marketing industry, is there a lot of times a high quality lead, Something that’s classified as a high quality lead is not my friends or my family. I learned that pretty quickly because here’s the thing I did grow a pretty sizable business with friends and family.
The problem was, is because those leads weren’t necessarily high quality, I would find people stick with me for quite some time and then not want to build a business anymore. That was somebody that wasn’t high quality.
They were, they were attracted to me because maybe I was fun or had charisma or whatever the case and my friends and family were like, yeah, we want to do what you’re doing. But what happened was because it wasn’t a high quality lead, that person either didn’t stick with the product, they didn’t stick with my business and they kind of fell off along the way.
That’s not a high quality lead. And unfortunately most of us, our friends and family, we’re not going to find high quality leads in our friends and family and that’s, that’s okay. I have no problem with that because while I love my friends and family, most of the time they don’t have the same drive or the same reasons for wanting to build a business that I do or maybe they’re just not interested or get caught up in excuses in life, whatever the case may be.
I’ve just found that if I can actually create content on social media that are attracting people just like me, I’m going to have more success in my business because I’m literally giving my high quality leads exactly what they want, so which is more valuable when it comes to getting leads for your business.
Is it better to get quality leads? Or is it better to get quantity leads? And can you have both? Is that even a possibility? Or are you just is it just a pie in the sky dream?
So obviously in anything we do, we want quality. Quality leads are actually what help us build our business and actually how grow our customer base and our quality business partners and business builders with us. So looking for high quality leads is way more important than having an abundance of quantity of leads that probably goes completely without saying we want to have that quality person that actually wants to build this business with us.
If you’re going after quantity, you’ve most likely brought into the thought that everybody is, everybody is interested in your product or your service every everybody wants what you have.
When I first started in network marketing, I was actually in a skincare company and my leaders within that company told me that everybody has skin so everybody wants this product, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
And I’m sure if you’ve been in network marketing for any amount of time, you’ve probably heard that as well please, my friend do not fall into the quantity leads fallacy. It is not true that everybody wants what you have to offer. It’s just not.
But when you have a quality lead, that quality lead already wants what you have or if there if there are business builder like you, they’re really interested in creating a leveraged, financially free life.
One thing that I’ve learned in my network marketing journey is that if I’m going after quantity leads instead of quality leads, I’m gonna be hearing more objections like it’s too expensive or I don’t like network marketing or I don’t think I can do it. I’m not good enough.
All kinds of excuses, excuses and objections come up from people whenever I’m going after quantity leads instead of quality leads, quantity leads are just gonna lead to more heartache and trouble in my network marketing business. And I personally just don’t have time for that.
I don’t know about you, but I want to build a business that I love with people that I know are interested in building a business that they love as well. So going after that quality lead is so much more important and I’m going to have less objections and fewer heartache along the way.
So can you have both quality and quantity network marketing leads for your business? I’m here to say it is absolutely possible, and it’s all about creating that leverage on social media, actually learning who your target audience is giving them exactly what they want and how you do that is you actually ask your target audience what do they want, and then you start answering their questions and you start giving them exactly what they want.
And either an educating or fun way, that’s literally going to start this vortex around you. This social media vortex where people are just literally coming out of the woodwork and you have no idea where the heck they came from. It’s really freaking cool and it’s totally possible to have quality leads in an abundance to have a quantity of qualified leads coming to you in your business.
