Have you noticed the changes that TikTok has made when it comes to direct messaging? It used to be that the only way you could direct message people on TikTok is if you were mutual friends.
Well, now TikTok has changed that. You can now choose to have people that you’re not following and they’re not following you.
To be able to message you if you like. You can now message people if you have the setting turned on and they also have this setting turned on. Let me show you.
First, tap on the hamburger menu then tap on settings and privacy, then privacy, then scroll down to direct messages. Then from here, you can tap this, and then you can decide Who actually is going to send you direct messages.
To find messages, go back to your home screen and tap in inbox then scroll down here and you can find a little thing here that says messages. And that my friend is how you can easily allow yourself to be open to DMs as well as you potentially dm people that have this on.
I love this feature for business owners, It will make it a whole lot easier to sell products and services.
